Meet Chadwick

Creating a bright future for all.

I was born in Eden, N.C.. and graduated from Morehead High School. After high school I made my way to Western Illinois University. Where I served as Student Body President, Student Senator as well as various other roles throughout my four years of undergraduate work. Serving as Student Body President gave me real insight on the importance of serving one's community.  Shortly after graduation I became Outreach Director for the Champaign County YMCA were I served three years. As YMCA director I was in charge of several leadership and development camps. My summers used to be the busiest time of the year. During the winter I would fundraise for the YMCA Board.

I started my graduate degree at the University of Illinois shortly after leaving my wonderful job at the YMCA, and received my Masters in History Education two years later. For three years I worked in Student Services at the University of Illinois serving the University Student Board helping and planning student events. After receiving my Masters in Education I moved to North Carolina and started to work at Tucker Creek Middle School. I have served at Tucker Creek Middle School, as a seventh grade teacher, since 2007.

I am happily married to Kathleen Howard who is also an educator and I have three wonderful kids.
